Crosile®171 Vinyltrimethoxysilane can be copolymerized with ethylene, propylene, butene and other monomers or grafted with related resins to make modified polymers for special purposes.
Crosile®171 Vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMO) Can be used for cross-linked polyethylene heat-resistant pipes, tubes and films. It can be widely used in the external anti-corrosion and thermal insulation coating of long-distance oil pipelines, natural gas and gas pipelines and anti-corrosion materials for related pipelines. It can also be used as a crosslinking agent for ethylene vinyl acetate, chlorinated polyethylene and ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer.
Suitable for impregnation process glass fibers and silicon-containing inorganic fillers. Improve the wettability and adhesion between resin and glass fiber, thereby effectively improving the mechanical strength and electrical properties of FRP and laminated plastic products, especially the wet mechanical strength. And improve the weather resistance, water resistance, heat resistance and electromagnetic wave transmission performance of FRP.
For the manufacture of special coatings. It can be copolymerized with oleic acid series monomers to make a special outer coating, which has the properties of weather resistance, dustproof, wiping, etc.
Crosile®172 Vinyl tris(2-methoxyethoxy) silane is a vinyl functional coupling agent that promotes unsaturated polyester resins or cross-linked polyethylene resins or elastomers with inorganic substrates (including glass fibers, silicon, oxidative double bonds between silicates and many metal oxides). When used as a coupling agent, it reduces the sensitivity of the product's mechanical and electrical properties to heat and/or moisture.
Crosile®172 Vinyl tris (2-methoxyethoxy) silane is mainly used in the following fields:
»As an effective adhesion promoter for various mineral-filled polymers, improving mechanical and electrical properties, especially after exposure to moisture.
»A comonomer used to prepare various polymers such as polyethylene or acrylic resins. These polymers show improved adhesion to inorganic surfaces, and they can also crosslink with moisture.
»Improves compatibility of fillers with polymers, resulting in better dispersion, lower melt viscosity and easier processing of filled plastics.
»Pretreat glass, metal or ceramic surfaces to improve the adhesion and corrosion resistance of these surface coatings.
