ECOPOWER Crosile®171 Vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMO) is a silane coupling agent with a Vinyl and hydroxyl groups that can be used to enhance the wettability and improve the superhydrophobic characteristics of different composites.
ECOPOWER Crosile® 172 is a vinyl group and a hydrolyzable 2-methoxy-ethoxy-Silyl group that promotes adhesion among unsaturated, polyester-type resins or crosslinked polyethylene resins or elastomers and inorganic substrates, including fiber glass, silica, silicates and many metal oxides. When used as coupling agent, it reduces the sensitivity of the products’ mechanical and electrical properties to heat and/or moisture.

Vinyl silane refers to an organosilicon compound with the chemical formula CH2=CHSiH3. It is a derivative of silane (SiH4). The compound is a colorless gas and is mainly of theoretical interest.
Crosile® 171, Crosile® 151, Crosile® 172, as well as Crosile® 173 are highly effective compounds that offer a wide range of benefits when used to modify various polymers. Whether you need to enhance mechanical strength, adhesion, or weather resistance, these compounds are the ideal choice for achieving outstanding results.
Crosile® 151 Triethoxy(3-thiocyanatopropyl)silane functions as both a coupling agent and a crosslinking agent and is suitable for polymer types such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and unsaturated polyester. It can also be used to enhance the affinity between glass fibers, inorganic fillers, and ethylene-reactive resins. It is commonly used in silane crosslinked polyethylene cables and pipes.
