Application
»Crosile® 5246 is a general-purpose silane that improves product performance and quality.
»Soluble in common organic solvents (eg methanol, ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone).
» Can be used as an additive or primer in the coatings or adhesive and sealant industries.
»As an additive, some special primer steps can be omitted in the application of multiple bonding.
»For special systems such as RTV silicone rubber and hybrid silane crosslinking to improve adhesion.
»The usual recommended dosage is 0.5~1.5 wt.% of the overall formulation.
»Can also be used for the treatment of inorganic fillers.
»The use of bisamino and alkyl functionalized Crosile® 5246 oligomeric bisamino silane system results in unique functional inorganic fillers during compounding with resin systems.
