165 Amorphous Precipitated Silica for Rubber
Product Name
SiO2, Precipitated Silica, White Carbon, Silicon Dioxide, Silica Powder, Amorphous Precipitated Silica
Chemical Properties
Precipitated silica, a form of synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is derived from quartz sand, a crystalline form of silicon dioxide. The physical properties of precipitated silica can be manipulated during the manufacturing process to deliver products with a wide range of performance-enhancing features engineered for many different end-use applications.

Application
1. 165P are a versatile inorganic chemical which are used for reinforcement of rubbers and plastics, coating and paints, printing inks and cosmetics, anti-blocking of plastic foils, free running and free flow of sticky solid and liquid substances, carrier for pesticides, secticides, high temperature insulation, stabilizing of beer and silicon rubber.
2. 165P possesses a high reinforcing potential and imparts to rubber compounds particularly high Shore hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance.
In order to achieve optimum rubber-technical data the addition of activators like glycols, amines or other alkaline accelerators is necessary.
