Maleic Modified Rosin Ester Resin for Hotmelt Adhesives Improve Bonding Force
Product Name
Maleic Acid Resin, Resin acid and Rosin Acid, maleated, Maleric Acid Rosin ester Resin
Chemical Properties
Rosin-modified maleic acid resin, also known as rosin-modified maleic acid resin, is a light yellow transparent flaky solid obtained by esterification of pentaerythritol with refined rosin and maleic anhydride as raw materials.
Soluble in coal tar, ester, vegetable oil, turpentine, but insoluble in alcohol.
It has the characteristics of light color, good color retention and good solubility with nitrocellulose, which can improve the hardness and gloss of the paint surface.
Not only that, but the maleic acid resin also has excellent water resistance. For the manufacture of quick-drying enamel paint, it can save the amount of tung oil.
