Applications

Rubber processing: It is used for softening, strengthening and tackifying to improve molding performance and prevent delamination of air bubbles in products. It is mainly used in the production of tires, rubber V-belts and inner tubes.

Adhesive production: For the production of hot melt and pressure sensitive adhesives, significantly improving their viscosity, elasticity and low temperature properties. It has excellent water resistance and is often used for bonding plywood, wallpaper and leather.

Paint production: used to manufacture enhanced latex paint and oil-soluble paint, which can effectively improve paint gloss, hardness, water resistance and chemical resistance.

Ink production: Due to its high softening point, stable performance and solubility in hydrocarbon resins, it is suitable for the production of printing inks. The addition of petroleum resins to inks can significantly affect overall print performance by increasing drying speed, enhancing tinting and brightening properties.

Paper industry: used as a sizing agent for paper. Compared to traditional rosin, C9 is very effective in reducing water absorption, thereby improving paper smoothness and hydrophobicity.
