Hydrogenated petroleum resin Generally C5 or C9 petroleum resin is reddish-brown to light yellow, and can become white or transparent after hydrogenation. In the application of hot melt adhesives and adhesive tapes, the transparency of the resin is very important. Hydrogenation can also improve adhesion, weather resistance, stability and compatibility.
C5 hydrogenated petroleum resin is made from the C5 resin fraction cracked by ethylene as raw material, and is obtained by cationic polymerization of diene and monoene in the C5 resin component.
C9 Hydrogenated Petroleum Resin is a low molecular weight semi-hydrogenated water-white thermoplastic resin derived from chemical raw materials. In view of good heat resistance, good compatibility with EVA, SBC and other polymers, it also has good thermal stability and very low odor.
DCPD hydrogenated petroleum resin is mainly composed of dicyclopentadiene and other low-molecular-weight polymers generated by polymerization under certain temperature and pressure conditions through a special process.
