Application

Petroleum resin HC 5100 is a kind of thermoplastic resin made from C5 fraction and C9 fraction, which are by-products of petroleum cracking, and processed through pretreatment, polymerization, distillation and other processes.

Petroleum Resin C5 HC 5100 is not a high polymer, but an oligomer with a molecular weight between 300-3000.

Aliphatic Hydrocarbon Resin HC 5100 has the characteristics of low acid value, good miscibility, water resistance, ethanol resistance, chemical resistance, etc. It is chemically stable to acid and alkali, and has the characteristics of good viscosity adjustment and thermal stability.

Petroleum resins are generally not used alone, but are used together with other resins as accelerators, regulators and modifiers.
