In 2022, our ECOPOWER will increase the production of Crosile®1891 3-mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane, which has completed the plan of 400T/year and will be put into production one after another.
Combined with customer and factory feedback, understanding the product can help enterprises in the industry in the following aspects:
1. Crosile®1891 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane is especially suitable for sulfur vulcanized and metal oxide vulcanized elastomers. It chemically bonds inorganic fillers such as silica, clay, mica, and talc with rubber, thereby increasing the tensile stress, tensile strength, tear strength, and tensile strength of inorganic filler-reinforced elastomers. Crack strength and other properties. Strength, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, resilience, compressibility and vulcanization time, etc. Compared to Crosile®189, this product and materials made from inorganic fillers have better storage stability.
Recommended usage:
Add Crosile®1891 immediately after inorganic filler and rubber, mix well, then add other ingredients including zinc oxide and stearic acid. The additional amount is 0.5%-1.5% of the inorganic filler.
2. Crosile®1891 mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane can replace general polysulfide silane. In low rolling resistance tires and rubber roller formulations, only lower levels can achieve the same performance.
3. Crosile®1891 (3-mercaptopropyl) triethoxysilane can be used as a tackifier in the formulation of coatings and adhesives, and can also be used in the modification of polyurethane adhesives.
4. Crosile®1891 silane can be used as adhesion promoter, surface modifier, cross-linking agent and dispersant, mainly used to improve the binding force of inorganic mineral powder materials and fibers to high molecular polymers (dendrites). Adhesion and water resistance of capacitors and resin layers to inorganic substrates.
